Painting, for me, began and ended (at least for a long while) during an early low-stress lull in life, at the age of 20. I picked up a beginners' oil set and became enthralled with teaching myself (through trial and error, of course) about the medium. I had just barely gotten comfortable with the joy that painting brought to my life when the normal 'life changes' began to occur and things got busier and busier.
